Summer Camp Life
Our girls’ summer camp is rustic, and we like it that way
If you really want to know what summer camp life is like, just look at these smiles. We think they tell the story pretty well. Wherever you find our campers, you find smiling faces!Campers Live in Tents
Hot dog! Kids have all kinds of fun at summer camp. Forrestel strives to make each day something special and fun. Come join us around the camp-fire.Girls live in large cabin-like tents. They are on wooden platforms which are off the ground. Most tents have 6 campers and 2 counselors (every tent has at least one camp counselor). The bathroom and showers are nearby.
Summer Weather
The average daytime temperature is between 75° & 80°; nightime is 60-65°.
We Eat Good Food
Food at camp is farm fresh and home cooked. Both lunch and dinner have salads and vegetables as well as plenty of meat, pasta, milk, juice and dessert (vegetarians don’t go hungry). Cold milk and fresh fruit are offered nightly as a pre-bedtime snack. Oh, and you haven’t lived until you try Mary’s homemade chicken pie.
