Signs of Spring
Friday, April 9th, 2010
Dear Friends,
The flowers are blooming, the trees are beginning to bud and the grass is turning a lush green. Signs of spring are everywhere! These spring pictures are especially for our new friend Sophia from New York.

Warm spring weather means that the horses are shedding like mad. When our good friend Kim brushes them, she is more covered with hair than they are. The surest sign of spring though, is that the horses spend all of their days nibbling on the new spring grass out in the far pasture.
There is always an exception. Look who would rather have his face buried in the hay than have to work hard to get a belly full of grass.

This weekend, April 8-12th, Margaret and I will be in Columbus Ohio attending the Equine Affaire at the Ohio Expo Center. All our mid-west friends, stop by and say hello. We are in the Celeste Center booth YP2. Check it out at www.equineaffaire.com.
We are counting down the days until camp begins. Kat arrives from Great Britian mid May and the lazy days in the pasture for these guys will come to an end. They will be in tip top shape when our Advanced Girl’s Riding Clinic begins June 20th.
Finally, Keep and eye on the website for updates about our exciting new fall specials; Women’s Riding Weekend, Family Camp, and a weekend session just for Girls who want to hang out with friends and participate in a horse show to benefit Rosewell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo.
Well, take care and we will see some of you very soon!
Mary
