Fourth Session has begun!
Tuesday, July 30th 2019

We are off to a great start for our Fourth Session of the summer! The campers spent their first afternoon getting to meet everyone at the pond and enjoying a nice, refreshing swim. Even the dogs came along for the fun!

The campers also met their horses for the week…and they’ve already gotten along so well. Our horses have been so good to us this summer and Fourth Session has been no exception; we are so lucky to have the best horses.

This week will fly by and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for tomorrow!

Last canoe trip of Session 3
Tuesday, July 23rd 2019

Today was our last canoe trip for Session 3. Campers had the chance this morning to take the canoes down to a local creek and spent some time travelling down-stream!

All of the campers worked so well together; everyone traveled safely and we had lots of fun. It was quite the adventure!

We are so sad that it was the last one of the session. The canoe trip is always such a highlight for the campers so we are glad we got to experience it one last time.

Olympic day at Forrestel
Sunday, July 21st 2019

This Sunday was extra special for our session 3 campers; we had Olympic day! Campers dressed up in all sorts of colors and showed some team spirit.

They participated in fun competitions and cheered loudly for their teammates!

We had a great afternoon with lots of laughs…the perfect start to another week at camp.

Baking at "The Bread Basket"
Wednesday, July 17th 2019

Today, we had an extra special activity available to the campers…baking! Campers have the opportunity to go to a local Medina bakery, “The Bread Basket”, instead of participating in sports.

We worked diligently from start to finish and were left with a tasty product, mini loaves of bread!

Baking is always popular with the campers and we are so lucky to have access to the bakery. We can’t wait to see what the campers make next!

Mountain Biking in Session 3!
Tuesday, July 16th 2019

Today at camp we started Session 3 off strong with a group mountain biking trip! The campers had a great time and the weather was perfect; it was a sunny afternoon with the perfect amount of puddles left on the trail.

We had a blast exploring the surrounding woods, trails, and the infamous Horse Pond. Of course, we stopped by the pond for a well-deserved swim!

Back at the barn, our lessons have been going very well! Our ponies have been working extra hard this summer and we are so lucky to have them.
