THE START OF OUR LAST SESSION

Dear Camp Friends,
Where has the summer gone? I guess that's what happens when you have so much fun. We have enjoyed the cooler weather. It's perfect for sleeping and the horses are comfortable. It energizes all of us!

Leather working is a big hit. Dave Nasca, who promises to return next year, enjoys sharing his talent with the kids. He finished making his western saddle while at camp, but he has found that he enjoys English riding. Maybe he will make an english saddle too. Our craft program with Miss Lori is amazing. The most popular project this summer has been the gauze masks. They are created to fit each campers face and are lots of fun to decorate.
Horseback riding is fabulous. Because of all the rain, the footing is soft and the horses are staying sound. Our many new horses have complemented the riding program. Kids are thrilled with the opportunities they have had and counselors enjoy working with them. We hope you enjoy the many pictures that are on our website. Things just couldn't be better and we are grateful for that.
In September we are gearing up for Family Camp Weekends. They are going to be a blast. For more info check out the tab on the home page or give us a call. We also are planning a Fall Festival the weekend of October 17th. It will be a great chance to see the farm dressed in fall colors, pick a pumpkin, and enjoy the company of your friends from camp. We may even have a weekend stay over for camp alumni who are traveling long distance to visit. Stay tuned for more information. The dinner bell is about to ring (by the way the food has been delicious) so we are signing off for now. Enjoy the rest of your summer.
